Pace was co...I aggree completley with you that Gen. Pace was completley out of line with his comments. It is, however unfortunate, that he was not violating military orders. Under military guidlines, openly homosexual men and woman are not allowed in the military and thus not protected under the equal oppertunity section of the uniform code of military justice. As far as wearing the uniform for interviews, it is allowed when relevent for the situation. "In except as authorized by competent authority ..." As a general, he is allowed to comment on miltary policy, in fact, you can be in uniform and appear on television as much as you want, as long as its not at a function not put on by the DoD. It is sad, but true. I think he should get in trouble.
